September Is Like The Monday Of The Year. (c)

Hi!

My name is Dmitriy. I'm IT recruiter. Right now I'm starting new web resource for IT recruiters and candidates in Ukraine.
I will blog in English, so no one in Ukraine could ever read this (just kidding)... because, some of my collegues from abroad might be interested in reading this too. Also, I'll practis my written English skills. Native speakers are welcome to critisize)

So... Why do I need a blog for? Because techcrunch.com! That's why)
56) Should I blog?Yes. You must. Blog about everything going wrong in your industry. Blog personal stories that you think will scare away customers. They won’t. Customers will be attracted to honesty.[1]
And I'm starting to blog. About right and wrong in recruitment. Mostly in IT and mostly in UA.
Inspired also by +Victor Soroka and his blog. Experienced recruiter and professional he writes really good articles. His blog was always very useful for me. Especially, market analytics he did in the last two years. I'll try to make my blog as useful as his.

I'm going to talk here about IT recruitment in general. IT Labor market in Ukraine and worldwide.
Probably, not only IT, but still - I like to think of myself as IT person.
I have some ideas about how reruiting process should be changed in Ukraine and how IT labor market shoud look like in the nearest future.

This ideas came out from another person's vision of future of recruiting. "Career site became a networking site and ATS cloud-based platform tracks entire job market in a given population." - Rajeev Bhat
So, I imagined this platform, trying to consider all the detailes. That was in February, 2013. And soon in October, 2013 will start closed alpha version of what I think might became this "networking site with ATS and entire job market in it".

First version of ATS for recruiters will show us all main gabs and bugs. Open beta is planned on December, 2013.

Whatever will come next - it cannot be boring! (c)

Thanks!
